Overview

Would you like to join a company that offers full training and support to kick start a career in the Water Industry?

We are recruiting for a number of Field Technicians who will be based across the Southwest region. You will be required to assist in leak detection activities. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday with flexible working hours.

Responsibilities
  • Using supplied technology, record acoustic sound files across a water distribution network using digital equipment
  • Work independently within urban/suburban environments
  • Liaise with supervisors
  • Work to achieve targets
Requirements
  • Trainee Field Technician job requirements:
  • Adhere to performance indicators set out by the client
  • This is a manual job which may involve lifting, stretching and bending; experience of driving long hours is beneficial
  • Record acoustic sound files across a water distribution network using digital equipment
Skills and experience beneficial
  • Used to working outdoors and interacting with members of the public
  • Self-motivated individual with an eye for detail and a focus on customer service and teamwork
  • A full clean UK driving licence
  • Ability to prioritise a variety of tasks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Water Hygiene, Street works and Manual handling accreditation – full training will be provided
The successful Field Technician must possess
