Job description

Overview

We are advertising for a client who requires a trainee dental nurse for their busy and well established NHS 4 surgery dental practice in Wrexham.

The position is full time between Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm.

Responsibilities

• Training within the practice will include:

• Being able to carry out high quality dental nursing to assist each clinicians with dental procedures
• Ensuring that all cross-infection and decontamination procedures are carried out in correctly
• Preparing and closing of the surgeries
• Health and Safety procedures
• Infection Control procedures
• Basic First Aid & Medical Emergencies
• Patient Confidentiality and GDPR procedures

Compensation

Minimum wage will be paid whilst in training.

Qualifications

The successful candidate would enrol with The Academy of Dental Nursing to gain their City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing.
