We are working on an exciting new role with a Main Car Dealership in the Eastbourne area of East Sussex.

My client is actively looking for a Trainee Customer Service Advisor to join their friendly and busy team.

No automotive experience is necessary – this is a great role for someone who wants to start in the motor trade. Full training will be provided, but strong organisational skills, a friendly manner, and a solid customer service background are essential.

Job Role – Motor Vehicle Customer Service Advisor

Salary – Minimum Wage + bonus

Trainee Customer Service Advisor Duties include:

  • Ensuring customers are aware of service and repair work required to their vehicles in a professional manner
  • Advising on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken
  • Selling additional products as appropriate to customers’ needs
  • Advising on timescales and collection arrangements
  • Producing job cards on in-house computer systems
  • Updating customer and vehicle records
  • Documenting all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy
  • Preparation and completion of invoices

Requirements for the Trainee Customer Service Advisor position:
