Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Haemato-oncology team at Cambridge University Hospitals for the position of Trainee Advanced Practitioner within the Haematology service. You will be working across the malignant Haematology service as part of the multidisciplinary team. You will support a patient focused service allowing for timely care for patients within the inpatient and outpatient Haematology service. You must hold a first degree in a relevant subject, with significant post registration experience including experience at a senior level.

Ideally you should have experience in Haematological-Oncology.

The post holder will be practicing as a Trainee Advanced Practitioner within their designated specialty/directorate. They will be expected to undertake and pass the MSc in advanced clinical practice and complete the associated clinical practice competencies and portfolio required for the program and be deemed competent by the clinical supervisor and university.

The role will encompass the skills of assessment, examination, diagnosis, and treatment within an agreed scope of practice under supervision by a medical practitioner or qualified ACP. They will be supported to gain the necessary experience in line with the four pillars of advanced practice.
