Job description
Overview

We are currently working with a leading contractor who specialise in hospitality and leisure schemes. They’ve asked us to source an experienced Traffic Marshall / Site Assistant to work on a busy hotel project near Oldham.

This would suit an ambitious individual as the Project Manager is keen to impart his knowledge and help somebody to develop management skills in quieter times.

Traffic Marshall / Site Assistant Requirements
  • We are looking for an experienced Traffic Marshall holding a valid vehicle banksman / marshal certificate.
  • You’ll mainly focus on directing traffic but will also assistant with general labouring as and when required, a CSCS card is required.
  • A desire to progress, you’ll be treated as an important member of the site team and trained to aid with day-to-day supervision on site.
Reasons to apply
  • This will be a long-term position starting late August with a 6-month programme.
  • Rates will be negotiable but likely between £16.00 - £16.50 an hour (contracting rate).
  • You’ll be working with a knowledgeable Project Manager who is keen to help somebody develop.
