Responsibilities
  • Hands‑on trade counter assistant work closely with Branch Manager and Supervisor
  • Lead trade counter sales to achieve sales targets, communicate product knowledge confidently
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers
  • Pick, load and deliver products to customers via Eurocell 3.5 tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans
  • Plan routes, drive safely and keep the company vehicle clean
  • Support Branch Manager with actions and activities on time, in full
  • Comply with Health and Safety, company policies and procedures
  • Ensure customer service, operational standards and branch sales targets are met
Qualifications
  • Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets
  • Hands‑on customer‑focused approach, confident and happy to serve customers and proactively engage with potential future customers
  • Commercial approach to drive sales and maximise margins, whilst ensuring customers always walk away happy
  • Good organisational skills, with ability to prioritise and use own initiative
  • Confident IT user, with experience of MS Office and industry standard software eg SAP
  • A full and valid driving licence is essential; a FLT licence could be a distinct advantage
  • Previous branch stock take experience could be a distinct advantage
  • Comfortable to work in a small team and on occasion, alone
Hours & Salary

44 per week – Permanent Role, 7am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday, 8am – 12pm Saturday rota.

Basic salary £27,936 per year, realistic total earning potential up to £31,536 per year.
