Qualifications

  • Chartered Member of the RTPI or working toward chartership.
  • Strong understanding of UK planning legislation and policy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and planning tools.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a friendly, knowledgeable first point of contact for clients.
  • Provide clear and accessible planning advice across development proposals.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, statements, and planning documentation.
  • Undertake desktop assessments and site visits.
  • Collaborate closely with heritage specialists and other professionals.
  • Attend and represent the consultancy at Planning Committees and Public Meetings.
