Job description

We are currently looking for new members of our team at Hurley Riverside Park for the 2026 season. We have three roles available: Touring Park Wardens, Shower Block Cleaners, and a Night Warden.

Overview

Our family‑friendly Touring and Camping Park sits alongside the River Thames in the picturesque village of Hurley between Henley‑on‑Thames and Marlow. It has been run by four generations of the same family since 1926.

Responsibilities
  • Run the reception, take bookings, and check customers in.
  • Operate the small park shop.
  • Ensure customers are pitched correctly and that park rules are followed.
  • Support the night warden’s shift from 8 pm to 8 am (no on‑call required).
  • Assist on busy Fridays during the summer and on bank holidays; extra hours will be paid.
Working Hours & Pay
  • Two twelve‑hour shifts with four days off between shifts; the season runs from March to October.
  • Standard average of 28 hours per week with additional hours paid at £13 per hour.
  • Free multi‑service 16‑amp hardstanding pitch included.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working on a touring and camping park is essential.
  • Experience with the inSite booking system is advantageous; other booking systems experience is acceptable.
  • Both applicants should be friendly, articulate, and have a pleasant and calm demeanor.
