Job summary

TOSCA Automation Test Engineer | Public Sector | SC Clearance | Contract

Role Intro

A consultancy partner working across the public sector is looking for an experienced TOSCA Automation Test Engineer to support the delivery of an enterprise-scale platform. This role will suit someone comfortable working in regulated environments and contributing to high-quality testing outcomes.

The Role

You'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automated test solutions using Tricentis TOSCA, working closely with delivery teams to ensure robust test coverage across complex systems. The role will involve engagement with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams within public sector programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using TOSCA
• Implement and manage test automation frameworks aligned to delivery standards
• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing across enterprise systems
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and manual testers to define test scenarios
• Analyse test results, identify defects, and support resolution through to closure
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and automation practices

Essential

• Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer using Tricentis TOSCA
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC
• Experience working on complex, enterprise-scale applications
• Ability to work effectively in Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desirable

• Experience working within the public sector or highly regulated environments
• Current or previously held SC Clearance, or eligibility to obtain it
• Experience with API, data, or system integration testing
