A leading timber importer in the UK is seeking a self-motivated individual to join their sales team. This role involves managing customer relationships and identifying new sales opportunities with responsibilities that include product development and strategy. The successful candidate will be required to travel across the UK and Europe. An attractive salary, bonus structure, and company car are included in the package.
KDM International Ltd, established in 1975, is one of the UK’s leading softwood timber importers. Based in Ipswich, Suffolk, the company is diverse and operates throughout the UK and Ireland specialising in the sale of timber products to the independent manufacturing and retail sectors covering all softwood markets.
The company has experienced significant growth in the garden products and agricultural sectors and is looking to add to its highly successful trading team to cover the whole of the UK. This exciting opportunity comes with significant and varied responsibility, UK & European travel, and requires a self-motivated ambitious person. The role involves managing repeat business, identifying new sales opportunities, product development, marketing and sales strategy.
The ideal candidate must be able to work within a team environment, show commitment and vision in developing the company’s customer base and product portfolio.
Package to be negotiated, will include an attractive salary, bonus structure, company car and benefits. This will also be dependant on experience and qualifications.
