TIG / MIG FABRICATOR

Smethwick / Birmingham Area

£15–£18 per hour (DOE)

Our client is seeking a skilled TIG / MIG Fabricator to join a respected and established fabrication workshop producing high‑quality bespoke architectural metalwork. This is a long‑term, stable role offering consistent day‑shift hours, excellent rates of pay, and the chance to work on visually impressive, high‑spec projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high‑quality TIG and MIG welds to exacting standards
  • Fabricate bespoke architectural and structural metalwork
  • Read and work accurately from engineering and fabrication drawings
  • Cut, prepare, assemble, and finish fabricated components
  • Work to tight tolerances and high cosmetic finishes
  • Carry out quality checks to ensure specifications are met
  • Operate workshop tools and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety

✅ Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in TIG and MIG welding
  • Strong fabrication background, ideally within architectural metalwork

  • Good understanding of workshop health & safety standards
