Job description
Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking radiographer to join our radiotherapy team. You will be an experienced therapeutic radiographer with excellent communication, leadership and teamworking skills ready to help run one our busy linear accelerators in a friendly, modern radiotherapy department.

Responsibilities
  • Day to day management of the radiotherapy patient workload and leading a team of radiographers on one of our linear accelerators at the main site at the General or at our satellite centre in Basingstoke.
  • Rotational work including pre‑treatment, DXR and in our new Brachytherapy suite.
  • Opportunities in TBI and SABR, providing safe, state-of-the-art patient centred care.
  • Participate in complex cases such as regional sarcoma, Neuro‑oncology (SRS/T), and IOERT for pancreatic and GI tumours.
  • Work with equipment such as Exactrac Dynamic on 3 of our 7 linacs, Align RT for thermal and surface‑guided set‑up and tracking.
