A public health service provider in Greater London is seeking a Sterile Services Technician to support surgical care by cleaning, decontaminating, and sterilising surgical instruments. The ideal candidate will possess 5 GCSE's or equivalent and a Decontamination NVQ Level 3. Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications required.
• Decontamination NVQ Level 3 or equivalent must be obtained.
• Experience in sterile services or theatre departments is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work with management to meet the production needs of the department.
• Ensure that all equipment is checked, present, and correct.
• Wash and decontaminate instruments according to policies.
• Sterilize instrument packs using dual temperature steam autoclaves.
• Complete documents for any non-conformances immediately.
