Job Description

12 Month Outside IR35 position working as a Test Article Build & Maintenance planner with a next generation avionics company. Due to the nature of the work the majority of hours must be completed onsite but the client can offer flexibility for one or two home working days per week.

This is a senior role and as Test Article Build & Maintenance planner you’ll coordinate the planning, build, and upkeep of aircraft test articles—ensuring every system arrives in a fully conforming state and is built exactly to specification.

They’re looking for someone to take a lead role in the build, coordination, and maintenance of test articles (aircraft components and sub-systems installed onto ground test rigs). It’s a role with real ownership, working closely with Test Managers, Manufacturing Engineering, and build teams to ensure test specimens are delivered, built, modified, and maintained to the right standard.

  • Acting as the central point of contact for all test article activity
  • Planning test specimen builds, modifications, instrumentation, and maintenance
