Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Temporary Technical Project Manager to oversee and drive forward critical strategic technology projects within their organisation. This role is pivotal in managing digital platform integrations and system transformations to align with business objectives. The successful candidate will bring advanced project management capabilities and work collaboratively across teams to ensure successful and timely project delivery over the 12-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and integration of new digital platforms, supporting strategic organisational goals.
• Drive operational change initiatives focusing on core administration platforms.
• Enhance project management skills within teams, promoting agile delivery methods and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain essential project documentation including user guides and project deliverables.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with projects, maintaining a dynamic RAIDD log.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation and reporting through meticulous project record-keeping.
• Engage with key stakeholders to align project objectives with broader business strategies.

Job Requirements

• A digitally savvy individual with a passion for leveraging technology to enhance work processes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills, capable of influencing and building consensus.
• Extensive experience in managing end-to-end implementation of new digital systems and platforms.
• Proficiency in change and project management methodologies, including both waterfall and agile frameworks.
• Exceptional IT skills, particularly with Microsoft 365, Excel, and PowerBI; experience with other analytics tools is highly desirable.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a results-driven approach.
