Job summary

A dedicated recruitment agency in Nottingham seeks an experienced Temp to Perm Hub Support Worker to assist victims of abuse. The successful candidate will work in a hands-on and office-based capacity, providing direct support while managing victim referrals and maintaining confidentiality. Candidates must demonstrate a compassionate and calm demeanor and have relevant experience. The role requires full-time commitment with salary approximately £12.50 per hour, focusing solely on female applicants due to the sensitive nature of the work.

Qualifications

  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS Check or be willing to process one.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for victims requesting support.
  • Co-ordinate incoming victim referrals through their database.
  • Update confidential information onto bespoke databases and MS Office.
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries within a suitable timeframe.
  • Provide advice and guidance and re-direct to additional third parties as required.

Skills

Previous experience of working with vulnerable people or survivors of abuse
Polite and professional telephone manner
Empathetic and understanding attitude with ability to remain calm

Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

Hours: Monday to Friday shifts (9:00am to 5:00pm or 11:30am to 7:30pm)

Salary: c£12.50 per hour D.O.E

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Support Worker to provide a mix of hands‑on and office‑based advice, working on a full‑time basis and providing direct first‑line assistance to victims of abuse.

Due to the sensitive nature of the service provided by our client, we can only accept applications from female candidates for this particular position.
