A global telecommunications company is seeking a Telecoms Operator for a long-term role based in Greenwich, offering £12.93 per hour. We are currently recruiting a Telecoms Operator to work in a busy clean production environment on behalf of a global telecommunications company. We are looking for people who can produce high quality precision work, have an eye for detail and are willing to learn.
Telecoms Operators are responsible for following documented processes to enable the safe and accurate mechanical or electro‑mechanical assembly of subsea and land‑based telecommunication equipment, which may also require fibre optic handling & splicing.
Full, paid training is provided in their state‑of‑the‑art Training School facilities based on site in Greenwich, SE London. Previous experience in similar roles would be particularly advantageous.
Telecoms Operators are required for various departments, each distinct role contributing to the creation of high specification product, adhering to specific requirements, yet collectively playing a vital and unique role in the overall creation and assembly of the product.
All work is carried out in an Electrostatic Protected Area.
The positions may also involve tasks such as manual handling, lifting of heavy objects, manual dexterity, and periods of sitting or standing.

Manufacturing Operators will be required to work shifts of both Days & Nights, on a 2-week rotation. Please note these hours are mandatory.
Days (x2 weeks) = 42.5 hrs – Monday – Thursday 6am – 5:45pm
Nights (x2 weeks) = 42.5 hrs – Monday – Thursday 6pm – 5.15am
