Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Telecom Systems Engineer in Leatherhead to develop specifications and conduct technical evaluations for various telecom systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in oil and gas projects and be able to ensure safety and reliability in all systems. Salary is £55 per hour Ltd Co, and the role may allow for a flexible work arrangement with a potential 4-day office week.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in creating technical reports, drawings, and schedules for oil and gas onshore installations.
• Essential experience in greenfield and brownfield telecom projects within the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with onshore middle east / Aramco projects is essential.

Telecom Systems Engineer

Leatherhead - 5 day office week (possible 4 day office / 1 day remote TBC)

The candidate will be responsible for developing specifications and conducting technical evaluations of various telecom systems, including but not limited to:

• LAN-WAN Systems
• Fiber Optic Cable Systems
• CCTV Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Public Address General Alarm Systems (PAGA)
• PABX, Hotline Systems
• Wireless/Microwave/TMR Radio Systems
• Perimeter/Fence Intrusion Detection Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Focus on safety, reliability, and quality in all telecom systems.
• Create Block Diagrams, Schematic Diagrams, Cable Schedules, datasheets, Interconnection and Wiring Diagrams, Cabinet General Arrangement Diagrams, MTO, and layout drawings.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in creating technical reports, drawings and schedules for oil and gas onshore installations.
• Essential experience in greenfield and brownfield telecom projects within the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with onshore middle east / Aramco projects is essential.
