Job Description

We're looking for a confident and proactive Business Development Specialist to play a key role in generating qualified appointments for our Sales team. This part‑time telesales position is vital to driving growth across our core logistics services, including:

  • General Network Distribution
  • Warehouse & Storage
  • Primary Full Loads
  • Contract Distribution

You’ll be provided with targeted prospects and supported by our CRM and lead management tool (TAMI), enabling you to manage outreach, track engagement, and ensure smooth handovers to our Business Development Managers (BDMs).

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach
  • Make outbound calls to potential and lapsed customers to introduce Expect Distribution services
  • Qualify prospects based on service fit and customer needs
  • Schedule appointments or Teams calls for the Sales team
  • Research and identify new prospects using CRM, TAMI, and online platforms
  • Follow up on inbound enquiries and support proposal updates
CRM Management
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, enquiries, and follow‑ups
  • Ensure visibility of lead progress and support seamless transitions to BDMs
  • Keep CRM data current to support team‑wide collaboration
Lead Management Tool (TAMI)
  • Use TAMI to access contact details and company information
  • Leverage the tool to streamline prospecting and save time
Requirements
