Technician - Motor Vehicle (Berkshire College of Agriculture)

Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Technician - Motor Vehicle to join our team on a full-time permanent basis at the Berkshire College of Agriculture campus.

This role involves working 37 hours per week on an all-year-round support contract. Salary: Scale G of the Support Staff Scale (G16 £24,098.00 up to G19 £26,784.00).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide an exceptional student experience by ensuring a safe and effective practical teaching and learning environment.
  • Support learning through demonstrations, instruction, and supervision.
  • Assist in the induction of students and help lecturing staff with practical demonstrations and instructions.
  • Prepare equipment and materials for lessons and maintain a clean, organised learning area.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure the maintenance and servicing of all equipment and machinery.
  • Participate in events such as parents' evenings, recruitment, trade events, and open days to promote the college.
  • Manage supplies, parts, and consumables related to the practical learning areas.
Qualifications
  • Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area.
  • Level 2 English and Maths.
  • Experience working in a workshop-based environment.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, including an enhanced DBS and Barred List check.
