An energy company located in Glasgow is seeking an EC&I Technician to deliver electrical, control, and instrumentation support. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting maintenance projects. EC&I Technician, you’ll provide electrical, control and instrumentation support to the plant mainly focussed on planned and unplanned maintenance projects.
Uddingston near Glasgow, Daldowie Treatment Works is one of the largest plants.
For nearly 25 years the plant has focussed on creating wdf pellets from sewage sludge reducing environmental impacts as well as carrying out planned maintenance activities including instrumentation.
Maintain compliance, inspiring safe ways of working across the site, setting a high standard of EC&I engineering activity, and supporting in rolling out larger group with a wide support network.
Be educated to at least ONC level in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering. You’ll need plant experience in the maintenance, repair and installation of electrical equipment, including but not restricted to 3 phase motors and associated switchgear, variable speed drives, soft starts, circuit breakers, able interpret schematic drawings, single line diagrams and PLC ladder logic.
