Job Title: Technician Engineer

Pay Rate: £15.85 per hour (PAYE) or £21.51 per hour (umbrella)

Location: Deeside

Contract Type: 6-month fixed-term, 5 Days a week

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technician Engineer to join our team for a 6-month assignment. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair and overhaul of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to high standards while complying with legislative and organisational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Overhaul equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure all work meets legislative and organisational standards.
• Work may cover one or more of the following areas:
  • Avionics systems
  • Maritime systems
  • Communications systems
  • Navigation systems
  • Weapons systems
  • Cable and test box manufacture

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience with electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance with safety standards.
• Problem-solving skills and a practical approach to technical challenges.
• Must be able to pass BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance.
