Technical Team Leader (Fire Safety)

Location: Bicester / London, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire & surrounding areas

To support our ambitious growth plans, we have a great opportunity to join our Building and Real Estate Division. SOCOTEC's Fire Engineering and Safety teams provide an award-winning, flexible and forward-thinking approach, as well as a high level of technical capability, providing our clients with cost-effective and practical solutions for the full range of fire safety problems.

We're looking for a Technical Team Leader to assist the Technical & Operations Director and support both technical team consultants and the Operations Team.

This role involves:
  • Assisting with technical and contractual queries from clients, consultants, and operational team members
  • Supporting client estate management teams with ongoing contractual requirements
  • Providing project delivery strategies for new projects in collaboration with the Operations team
  • Completing fee proposals within specified timescales and providing technical input to the Operations team

  • Member Grade of the Institution of Fire Engineers (MIFireE) or equivalent
  • Diploma level 4 in fire safety and Certified Fire Risk Assessor qualification
  • Excellent knowledge of fire safety sector regulations, including Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
  • Detailed knowledge of British Standards relating to Fire Safety
  • Qualifications in Fire Risk Assessment, fire safety systems and inspection
