A food manufacturing company based in Northampton is seeking a Technical Manager to lead food safety, quality, and compliance. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to BRC and HACCP standards while driving continuous improvement. This hands-on role involves managing audits, overseeing QMS, and ensuring a strong food safety culture across the site. The position requires a degree in Food Science or equivalent qualifications, alongside significant experience in a high-risk food environment.
Technical Manager
Location: Northampton
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Salary: Up to £65,000 DOE
We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to lead food safety, quality, and compliance across our client's site. This hands‑on role is central to maintaining high standards, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring ongoing compliance with customer, regulatory, and third‑party accreditation requirements, including BRC, BMPA, and Organic standards.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with UK food safety legislation and maintaining BRC accreditation, reporting to the company directors.
