Technical Manager

Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire | Full-time | On-site

As a privately-owned and multi award-winning regional housebuilder, we pride ourselves on delivering bespoke developments in some of the South East’s most desirable locations.

We’re looking for a Technical Manager to join our Beaconsfield office and take ownership of the technical delivery for our premium developments.

What you’ll be doing

You will lead the technical process from planning through to handover, ensuring information is produced, reviewed and distributed on time, within budget and to the highest quality.

  • Manage working drawings, specifications and consultant outputs
  • Review design details to ensure practical, cost-effective and high-quality solutions
  • Coordinate planning, design freeze, regulatory approvals and warranty requirements
  • Oversee Building Regulations compliance and the discharge of planning conditions
  • Arrange and assess surveys (site, soil, contamination etc) and technical reports
  • Manage service connections, disconnections and statutory agreements (Section 38/104/278)
  • Drive value engineering and quality control across projects
  • Act as CDM Coordinator, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards
  • Track budgets, approve consultant payments and maintain cost accuracy
  • Stay up to date with regulatory changes, new methods and innovative building products
About you
  • Proven technical experience in residential housebuilding, managing multiple projects
  • Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, planning policies, NHBC requirements and CDM
  • Confident coordinating consultants and reviewing technical designs
  • Detail-driven with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
