Technical Lead (Reporting) needed in Sheffield

This is a temporary contract paying £23.17ph PAYE

The successful candidate will provide technical and functional expertise to support an implementation of a new RMS system, acting as a subject matter expert for standardised reporting development, documentation, and training.

They will design, develop, and deliver business intelligence reporting using tools such as OBIEE and Power BI, applying strong SQL, PLSQL, and TSQL skills.

They will work closely with functional users to ensure timely, accurate information, assess and validate reporting requests, and propose effective alternatives where needed. The role requires supporting users with system issues, applying analytical and problem‑solving skills to improve reporting processes, producing clear documentation, conducting advanced data analysis and modelling, and providing insights that inform strategic decision‑making while staying current with industry best practices.
