Salary: £80,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years in engineering leadership roles, with a proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in software development and architecture. Expertise in modern tech stacks (e.g., TypeScript, Node.js, SQL, cloud platforms like AWS). Hands‑on experience with both front‑end and back‑end technologies.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and mentor engineering teams. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Product Focus: Experience working closely with product teams to align engineering efforts with business goals. Ability to understand the broader vision and deliver high‑quality solutions.
  • Problem‑Solving Mindset: A solution‑oriented approach to complex challenges, with the ability to make strategic decisions in a rapidly changing environment.

Role Overview

As the Technical Lead, you will oversee a section of the engineering team, champion best practices, and set the technical direction for our products. Balancing approximately 50% hands‑on technical work with 50% team leadership, you will directly impact product development and the growth of your team. You will be involved in practical technical tasks while also fostering collaboration and driving performance through effective management and coaching.
