Looking for a new Technical Coordinator opportunity with a highly respected developer offering long term security and great benefits? RGB Recruitment Ltd are working with a leading residential housebuilder to recruit an experienced Technical Coordinator for their West Midlands team. Based their Birmingham office, this role plays a key part in delivering high-quality residential developments by coordinating all private and adoptable infrastructure, from roads and drainage through to utilities and services.

You’ll be responsible for managing and reviewing civil engineering designs, technical reports and consultant information to ensure developments are buildable, compliant and delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage civil engineering and infrastructure design packages
  • Review drawings, reports and technical submissions for accuracy and compliance
  • Liaise with external consultants, utilities providers and local authorities
  • Support land, planning and construction teams with engineering input
  • Manage technical approvals, adoptions and legal agreements
  • Attend pre-start and site meetings, providing technical guidance during early build stages
  • Ensure risks, constraints and cost impacts are identified and mitigated
About You
  • HND (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
  • Experience in a similar role within residential housebuilding or infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of roads, drainage, sewers and utilities design
  • Confident using AutoCAD and engineering software (e.g. Civil 3D, MicroDrainage)
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions
