Job Title:Technical Business Analyst
Location: UK Flexible
Salary: £45,000 to £50,296 per annum(plus Inner London Weighting, £3,344, if applicable)
Hours: 35 per week
Contract: Fixed Term (18 months)

We’re looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our team in a hybrid role that blends traditional business analysis with technical engagement. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to shape solutions that meet organisational goals, while also collaborating with technical teams to understand system architecture, data flows, and contribute to solution design. Your ability to ask the right technical questions and interpret responses meaningfully will be key to your success.
What will a day in the life of a Technical Business Analyst involve? You'll be:
  • Translating business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications or user stories.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to explore needs, define priorities, and manage expectations.
  • Collaborating with technical teams to assess feasibility, understand architecture, and contribute to solution design.
  • Participating in technical discovery and analysis to inform decision-making and shape delivery.
  • Supporting solution implementation through testing, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Analysing and modelling business processes to identify improvements aligned with strategic goals.
  • Promoting innovation and sharing knowledge across teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring solutions meet compliance, quality, and inclusivity standards.
What will you need to be a successful Technical Business Analyst?
  • Proven experience in business analysis, including identifying user needs and defining technology solutions.
  • Strong ability to produce prioritised functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Skilled in mapping current and future business processes with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and managing expectations.
  • Comfortable working with technical teams and translating business needs into technical language.
  • Capable of developing test scenarios and assessing solution quality.
