Salary

£40,000.00 – £46,000.00 per annum

About The Role

This role is 40 hours per week and mainly office‑based, but flexibility is needed.

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for quoting and overseeing all technical aspects of any event. You will manage allocated technicians and ensure that all staff are adequately briefed and prepared for forthcoming events in a timely manner. You will support clients in all technical areas of an event. This will involve extensive pre‑production work prior to event sign‑off to include technical quotations, scale plans, set design, set visuals, H&S requirements and rigging sign off.

You Will Also Be Responsible For
  • Regular client meeting & site visits
  • Interpreting and developing the brief with the client
  • Producing quotes and agreeing budgets
  • Managing project timelines and schedules
  • Ensuring project documentation is updated, including risk assessments and method statements
  • Managing suppliers and other 3rd parties
  • Overseeing delivery of the event, working with other departments to ensure post‑production activities are completed
About You

The ideal candidate will have experience as a project manager in corporate AV and be passionate about working in the audio‑visual field and delivering exceptional service to clients.

You Will Also Require The Following Skills
  • Quick thinking and problem‑solving abilities to handle unexpected situations.
  • Excellent client‑facing and communication skills to provide exceptional service.
  • Have the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A can‑do attitude, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Possession of a full, valid UK driving licence with no more than 3 points plus eligibility to drive long‑wheelbase vans.
  • As events often present changing demands and priorities, your flexibility and excellent time management skills will be crucial.
