Role

This role does not involve a great deal of physical chemistry and mainly draws upon applying your chemistry knowledge.

You will use your knowledge of chemistry to assess incoming waste streams based on information provided by the sales team, ensure they are classified correctly and identify correct cost and route of disposal.

Experience

Experience working in the hazardous waste sector for at least a year is essential, working as a Technical Assessor or as a Site Chemist with Technical Assessor duties.

You will have a good standard of verbal and written communication, and be competent in Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience of directly interfacing with a client would be desirable.

Qualifications

YOU WILL HAVE a Degree in Chemistry.
