Job summary

A leading global consultancy is seeking a Tech Support Lead for a 6-month contract in Central London. This role requires 10+ years of Telecoms application support experience, strong knowledge of ArcGIS, Hexagon, and Oracle Spatial. Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in application support/maintenance in the Telecoms domain.
  • Strong experience with ArcGIS, Hexagon, Hexagon Geospatial Portal, Oracle Spatial, .Net.
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes and experience leading a team.
  • Hands-on experience with GCOOMS, ArcGIS, GCP, and Kubernetes.
  • Basic understanding of Java and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux OS, Shell Scripting, SQL, PL/SQL.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide application support and maintenance for Telecoms systems.
  • Lead a team and guide junior resources in daily operations.
  • Perform L2 and L3 operations in OSS, B2B, Wholesale, and Corporate domains.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and problem management for recurring issues.
  • Create workarounds and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for junior team members.
  • Plan, coordinate, and deploy changes in pre-production and production environments.
  • Automate manual jobs and activities, including CSIP processes.
  • Analyse system vulnerabilities and monitor progress of fixes.
  • Perform capacity management and disaster recovery activities, including failover testing.
