Job description

Situated on Regents Canal near Haggerston Overground Station The Proud Archivist is a combined gallery bar theatre space and restaurant cafe serving fabulous food and drink in a beautiful setting.

We are built around an engaging and versatile concept designed and programmed to echo emulate and revive the traditions of Londons grand 17th & 18th century coffee houses.

Bringing together a simple caf / bistro offering alongside & within a gallery / library aesthetic and overlaid with a diverse fringe cultural and community programming we want to reflect and represent the interests and passions of the people who make up our area.

Alongside this our regular program of exhibitions will showcase some of the most interesting and exciting art around whilst our kitchen serves modern British cuisine guided by principles of seasonality and sustainability.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for all areas of the floor team. You must be passionate about what we do. Whilst running epic floor shifts you will also be responsible for making sure that every platform of the venue is operationally intact. The perfect candidate will never want to come in and the shift be quiet as there is always something going on. You will never be bored!

We want our team to have an attention to detail that is second to none, be passionate about the industry and have a desire to incorporate culture into every aspect of their lives.
