Overview

Team Manager – Qualified Social Worker. Service: Child Protection, CP Chair & LADO. Location: West Yorkshire. Pay: £40 per hour.

Are you a passionate and experienced Qualified Social Worker ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a dynamic Team Manager to lead a dedicated Child Protection, CP Chair & LADO team in West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and families while developing your leadership experience within a highly supportive, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Section 47 enquiries
  • Initial Child Protection Conferences
  • Children in Need and Court work
  • Early planning for permanence

You’ll work closely with families and multi-agency partners—such as police, education and health professionals—to ensure children are protected and their long-term outcomes are improved. Your focus will be on achieving sustainable change and supporting early intervention.

You’ll also collaborate with Integrated Prevention and Early Help services, ensuring a smooth transition for families who no longer require statutory intervention.

Qualifications
  • Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England
  • Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualified experience in statutory children’s services
  • Experience in Child Protection, Court Work, Child in Need and Pre-Proceedings
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and child development
  • Excellent assessment, planning and review skills
  • Proven ability to engage families and lead teams through complex cases
