The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our residential care team. This is a key role within our organisation, supporting the Registered Manager in maintaining Ofsted standards and ensuring excellence in care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and mentor a team of Residential Support Workers.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding policies, and company procedures.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the home, promoting a safe, positive, and nurturing environment.
• Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and reviews for the young people.
• Promote independence, resilience, and personal development among children and young people.
• Support the Registered Manager with audits, inspections, and continuous service improvement.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with young people and has a strong track record in residential childcare.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in a senior or team leader role within an Ofsted-regulated children’s home.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards it.
• Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and child protection.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
