About the Role

We are seeking a full time Team Leader to oversee operations at our Doctors Orders cafe located at Gold Coast University Hospital in Southport.

This role is paid in line with the Fast Food Industry Award - Level 3.

As a Team Leader you are responsible for ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.

Responsibilities include :
  • Training team members in store processes and procedures
  • Maintaining a clean workspace in accordance with Food by WHSmith hygiene Standards
  • Reporting and communicating necessary information and feedback to the Cafe Manager regarding any and all aspects of store operations
  • Assist in the preparation of both food and beverages / coffees
About You

To be considered for these roles you must display the following :

  • Barista experience is highly regarded
  • Available to work between the hours of 6am - 3pm
  • At least 2 years experience in a supervisory role
  • Strong initiative with the ability to adapt to differing working styles and personalities
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of general café operations in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
