Salary: £13.00–£14.00 per hour + £50 per sleep-in

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join a children’s residential home in Middleton. The successful candidate will support young people with emotional and behavioural needs, while leading shifts and guiding a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of residential care staff
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people at all times
• Promote a nurturing, structured environment in line with care plans
• Complete and oversee accurate record keeping
• Support with training and development of junior staff
• Take part in the on-call and sleep-in rota

Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• At least 1 year’s experience working with young people in residential care
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Confident in leading shifts and supervising staff
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children’s regulations

Schedule
