Job description

Strand Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 1 to join our academy in January 2026 on a part time, temporary basis.

Your new role

As a Teaching Assistant Level 1, you will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in a classroom with the teacher. You will support pupils to ensure they can access learning and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

Hours

29.5 hours per week / Term Time only plus 5 Days (39 Weeks) / Temporary

Strand Primary Academy is situated in the East Marsh area of Grimsby, less than an hour drive from Hull, Lincoln and Scunthorpe. We are a small, one form entry academy, educating children from the ages of 3 to 11 from the local area.
