Are you a Level 2 or 3 qualified Teaching Assistant looking to dive into a new challenge by the coast? We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to support primary schools across Blackpool starting in January 2026.

Your Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant
  • Collaborate with children individually or in small groups to enhance their learning.
  • Serve as a positive role model for both students and colleagues.
  • Foster positive relationships with children and their families.
  • Collaborate with fellow staff members, including specialists.
  • Assist the class teacher in resource preparation and activity setup.
  • Help prepare a lesson and tidy the classroom afterwards.
  • Provide assistance with lesson plans.
  • Support children across the curriculum.
  • Give extra support to children with special needs.
  • Help mark work and report student progress.
  • Help look after the children during school trips and activities.
  • Look after children that are unwell.
  • Attend meetings.
  • Confidence in guiding individuals or small groups.
  • A positive attitude and effective communication skills.
