We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience of EYFS to join our thriving values-based school. We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisor to join our values-based school. The TA role is 5 days a week term-time only plus 3 INSET days, 08:30 to 15:45 (28 hours and 45 minutes per week). The salary for the TA role is as per Surrey Pay Scale 3, £24,330 FTE, actual pro-rata £16,544. The Midday Supervisor role is term-time only plus 3 INSET days, 11:45 - 12:45 (5 hours per week). The salary for the MDS role is as per Surrey Pay Scale 1/2, £23,322 FTE, actual pro-rata £2,715 per annum. The roles are permanent.
The Teaching Assistant role:
Maybury Primary is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to enhanced DBS check. The school complies with the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009 by ensuring that staff are not disqualified from working with children. The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
