Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience of EYFS to join our thriving values-based school. We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisor to join our values-based school. The TA role is 5 days a week term-time only plus 3 INSET days, 08:30 to 15:45 (28 hours and 45 minutes per week). The salary for the TA role is as per Surrey Pay Scale 3, £24,330 FTE, actual pro-rata £16,544. The Midday Supervisor role is term-time only plus 3 INSET days, 11:45 - 12:45 (5 hours per week). The salary for the MDS role is as per Surrey Pay Scale 1/2, £23,322 FTE, actual pro-rata £2,715 per annum. The roles are permanent.

Responsibilities

The Teaching Assistant role:

• support the learning and development of children in the EYFS class
• adapt teaching materials to suit the particular requirements of individual children
• be a dynamic, creative, positive team member and an effective role model for the school’s values-based ethos
• work with professionals and staff to deliver targeted support to individuals and groups of children
