Job description

Overview

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support young people aged 10-14 years, working in a specialist SEND setting. All children have an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) to support their Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will have a very nurturing approach with a reassuring presence, helping to create a learning space where all pupils feel safe, respected, and ready to engage. We are looking for you to bring a compassionate and inclusive approach to every child's learning journey. This is an opportunity to be part of an amazing team; it is a long term position with the opportunity to develop into a permanent role with the school.

The hours are Monday to Friday 8am-3pm.
