Teaching Assistant - SEMH Support
Location: Leicestershire (LE8 area)
Pay: 90- 100 per day (PAYE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (Term-time only)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term to permanent

We're partnering with a specialist SEMH provision supporting pupils aged 4-16. With small class sizes and high staff-to-student ratios, the school focuses on emotional regulation, trust and positive behaviour. Students take part in academic, outdoor, creative and therapeutic activities designed to build life skills and confidence.

The Role

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needs
  • Help pupils manage emotions and develop positive routines
  • Support teachers in delivering a flexible, personalised curriculum
  • Work alongside therapists and support staff to provide holistic support
  • Build trusting relationships to help students engage and thrive

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting young people with additional needs (SEN, SEMH, youth work, care or similar) is welcomed
  • Calm, patient and adaptable with strong communication skills
  • Passionate about making a real impact in young people's lives
  • Energetic and confident staff-including those with a sporting or active background-are encouraged to apply, but we welcome all skilled applicants
