Teaching Assistant – Mulberry Academy Woodside

Mulberry Academy Woodside is an exceptional mixed 11‑16 comprehensive school serving a truly multicultural community. We are committed to equality, diversity and outstanding teaching and learning.

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in January 2026. This role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced assistant who wishes to further develop their career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support classroom teaching and provide individual support to pupils as required.
  • Promote the ethos and values of the school, ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and senior staff to plan and deliver lessons.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive setting, safeguarding children and young people.
  • Assist with assessment, data recording and educational paperwork.
  • Contribute to school‑wide initiatives such as professional development and wellbeing programmes.
  • Attend meetings, training sessions and coaching sessions as directed.
  • Ensure punctuality, confidentiality and the highest professional standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
