Work pattern: Full time, 36 hours per week / 38 weeks (Term time only)

SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time (Aylesbury)

We are recruiting a full‑time SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a secondary SEN setting in Aylesbury, supporting pupils with complex learning and communication needs.

The setting supports over 100 pupils with PMLD, SCLD and Autism, and provides a calm, structured and nurturing environment.

Your role will include:
  • Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
  • Assisting with learning, communication and daily routines
  • Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing
  • Working closely with teachers and support staff
Requirements:
  • Previous SEN experience not essential
  • A kind, caring and nurturing nature is essential
  • Full‑time availability
  • A genuine desire to support children with additional needs
  • Experience working with children in a school setting
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to process one
