Job Overview

Axcis Education are recruiting for a specialist secondary school in Waddon, Croydon. The school seeks a dedicated and adaptable teacher who will start in January 2026. While an Art Teacher is preferred, teachers of any subject specialism are welcome, especially those with EYFS or KS1 experience, as pupils need a highly nurturing, primary‑style approach to learning.

Responsibilities & Role Details
  • Start date: January 2026
  • Initially until February half‑term, with strong potential for extension
  • Full‑time: 8:30 am – 3:45 pm (part‑time may be considered)
  • Working with pupils with additional needs in a supportive, specialist environment
Candidate Requirements
  • Hold QTS or QLTS
  • Have experience working in a UK school
  • Be flexible, patient, and child‑centred
  • Be confident adapting teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs
  • Have experience in EYFS/KS1 (essential due to pupil needs)
Additional Information

Pay is negotiable and will reflect experience.
