Job summary

A leading education provider in Liverpool is looking for a qualified SEN Teacher to join their specialist school, where they provide care and education for children with learning difficulties. The role starts in January 2026 and continues until July 2026. Applicants should have a relevant teaching qualification, QTS, and experience with moderate to severe learning difficulties. Role - SEN Teacher
Location - Liverpool
Start date : January 2026
Pay - £31,650 - £49,084 ( inclusive of holiday pay )

CER Education are currently recruiting a skilled SEN Teacher for a specialist SEN School in Liverpool. The school provide both care and education services to children and young people with moderate to severe learning difficulties aged 8-19 years old.

The school are looking to recruit a qualified teacher who has had previous experience working with moderate to severe learning difficulties or has expeirence working within a SEND setting.

The role is to start in January 2026 and will continue until July 2026.

You will have the following experience :
  • A relevent degree level Teaching qualification and experience in a school - Primary, Secondary or SEND School
  • Hold QTS and experience in SEN/ Mainstream education
  • Experience of working in a SEN school with children who have learning difficulties and can display severe challenging behaviour is desirable
  • Be experienced in delivering differentiated, personalised learing plans and work closely with the SENCO, to create a posiytive learning environment
  • Be committed to safeguarding and the wellbeing of students
  • Enhanced DBS or a willingness to obtain one
