Salary: £140 - £240 per day (DOE)

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join one of our well-established partner secondary schools in Sheffield. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a skilled practitioner to inspire students, drive progress, and contribute to a thriving Maths department.

About the Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
  • Use data and assessment to track progress and support pupils of varying abilities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and develop effective teaching strategies.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and engagement.
About You

The person who we are looking for MUST require the following:

  • QTS or QTLS (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome).
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths.
  • Can deliver creative, differentiated lessons that motivate learners.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
  • Maintains a proactive, reflective, and positive approach to professional practice.
