Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a full-time History Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming secondary school in Manchester, starting January 2026, on a long-term/temp to perm basis, until at least the end of the summer term.

Teacher of History - Manchester

Pay: 168-260 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time, Long-term, temp to perm.

Start: 5th January 2026

As a Teacher of History, you will play a key role in inspiring and engaging pupils through creative and inclusive teaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs

• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential
• Contribute to school life through involvement in extracurricular activities and initiatives
