Required for April 2026 or September seeking a well-qualified and dynamic Teacher of Design & Technology to join a thriving and successful Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Design & Technology lessons for GCSE and A-level students, focusing on core materials content and specific areas such as Resistant Materials, Graphics, and Textiles, and Product Design.
  • Develop and assess curriculum, using 1:1 digital learning and the latest technology.
  • Contribute to the school's wide range of co-curricular activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support small teaching groups throughout the School.
  • Willingness to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with the Disclosure & Barring Service and past employers.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Well-qualified and dynamic teacher of Design & Technology.
  • Experience in Resistant Materials is particularly preferable.
  • Suitable for both first appointments and experienced teachers.
  • Must be willing to contribute to co-curricular activities.
  • Ready to undertake child protection screening and DBS checks.
