Malbank School and Sixth Form College is looking for an outstanding teacher to support and expand our computing curriculum. Why Choose Malbank School? Our Computing department consists of two full-time teachers who work together across the age and ability range, ensuring that every student receives a top-quality education. You will have your own classroom, equipped with a wide range of software applications and resources that enhance both teaching and learning. Our network is reliable and continually invested in, with over 400 devices available for students. We take pride in our well-organised and well-resourced department that prepares students for success at all stages of their computing education.

What We Offer
  • Engaging Curriculum: At Key Stage 3, all students study IT twice over a two-week timetable, preparing them for the challenges of Key Stage 4. At KS4, students can choose between GCSE Computer Science or the OCR Creative iMedia course. We also offer A-Level Computer Science and vocational computing qualifications.
  • Professional Growth: We believe in fostering professional development and offer continuous support for our staff. You will be encouraged to attend relevant training courses and receive one period per fortnight dedicated to personal development in addition to your non-contact time.
